SHIFT Meeting February 7th 4-6pm (!New Time!) with Attorneys Eric Medlin and Patrick Apple, of the Medlin Law Firm, PC.
TOPIC: “Behind The Mask: Is Your Customer Really Who They Say They Are?”
So, you’ve spent considerable time and effort developing a lead and working out the terms of the deal only to find out that the person you’ve been selling to doesn’t have the authority to close the deal. Or worse, you’ve sold and serviced a new customer, but when they don’t pay the bill, your attorney tells you the company has been “administratively dissolved” or is actually an “assumed name” for a “sole proprietorship” and you will likely never get paid. Learn How to avoid being on the short end of these unpleasant situations.
EASE Program participants are free (Contact Clay or Sam)
As always, the monthly Shift meeting is held the first Wednesday of the month at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship.
