Global Entrepreneurship Week comes back to the Triad from November 17th - 23rd.


Shift wants to provide and promote resources to create successful, and possibly high-impact companies here in Greensboro.  Pushing the entrepreneurial culture of the Greensboro, the Triad, and North Carolina at-large will continue to be our mission.  Below are some helpful resources, and inspiration for any new start-up.

The Nussbaum Center will help you to develop your business acumen, build business plans, and develop strategy. Being located in Nussbaum also allows businesses to interact with other entrepreneurs so they can learn from one another.

  • North Carolina Center for Entrepreneurship:

The NCEC offers one-on-one consulting for prospective entrepreneurs with early stage businesses or ideas needing clarification. The center’s staff will set an appointment to discuss ideas and offer suggestions for next step processes.

  • GTCC Small Business Center:

GTCC Small Business Center provides free, confidential, one-to-one counseling on key start-up topics such as business plan development, creation of financial projections, marketing strategies and tactics.
